RELAXING IN THE COMPANY OF HORSES IN A BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT
Pick the pleasant Prestranek Castle Estate for your family holiday. Take in the karst nature and the genuine hospitality in the company of Icelandic horses.
For all horse lovers we prepared a 2-day family holiday package in the Green Karst at the Prestranek Castle Estate, which offers many opportunities for a relaxing and active holiday on its 300 ha of picturesque nature. The estate is home to the 16th century Prestranek Castle, which once played an important role as part of the famous Lipica Stud Farm.
After settling down in the family apartment, we will greet you with a welcome drink. Afterwards, the exploring of the estate and spending time with the horses can begin. You will get to know and ride the Icelandic ponies. These horses are very tame and are also suitable for beginners. In the evening, you will be able to enjoy our restaurant, which serves house specialties made from organic Angus beef bred at the estate and other local specialties.
The following day after breakfast, you will explore the surrounding area, which is perfect for walks or a trip to the nearby attractions: Park of Military History Pivka, Ecomuseum of the Seasonal Lakes of Pivka, Karst Museum in Postojna, Škocjan Caves, Lake Cerknica, Prem Castle, and others. The mini family holiday at the estate will finish with lunch.
The programme includes:

- horse riding 2 x 45 min on one horse or 1 x 45 min on two horses
