Green Karst

Natalija is a local tour guide from Rakek. Together with her partner, they are passionate hikers and explorers of new trails in nature, which they also offer to nature and hikking lovers as author-designed trails in the project "Unbound hiking".

The offer permanent hikes:
- to Javorniška Baba,
- to Javorniki,
- along the rugged karst valley of Rakov Škocjan,
- by the Lake Crknica along the Drvošec trail,
- along the most beautiful Notranjska ridge path, from Planina and Planinska gora to Lovrenc and the circular route back.
Most of the trails are designed by the author and include walking on unmarked paths and off-trails, which gives the hikes a touch of personality.

They also tour along other routes and destinations that are designed according to the hikers wishes, combined with an overnight stay outdoors in nature.

As a geographer, she understands the background of the landscape and natural phenomena and is also able to present them to her guests in an understandable way so that they can connect even more with the environment they are viewing. 

In addition to nature, she likes people and touring groups, as she makes a living as a tour guide. The feeling of holding space for the group, coordination of different interests, dynamics and acceptance of diversity are key skills for the visitors to feel accepted and safe even on hikes in nature. Natalija's fundamental belief is that everyone in the group contributes to the experience of the whole, so the attitude towards the guests on the hikes comes first.

In addition to the Slovenian language, Natalija is also giding in English, Croatian and Serbian.
