The appeal of the Lipica Stud Farm lies in the stories, which have been written for more than 500 years by people and the Lipizzaners - one of the oldest cultural horse breeds in the world. The stud farm and the estate hide many gems, which the visitors can discover. The main focus of all the tours and exhibitions is on the Lipizzaners, which can be seen in the oldest Velbanca stables, you can learn about their story in the Lipikum Museum and enjoy the show “A Tale of Lipica”, which is put on by the Lipica Classical Riding School. The estate also offers many opportunities for relaxation in the hotel accommodation and numerous possibilities to spend an active holiday in the vast Lipica meadows and pastures. Riding in horse-drawn carriages and horse riding through the Karst landscape are special experiences not to be missed.
