The Prestranek Castle Estate is especially suitable for people who love horses as it offers horse riding across the vast Karst pastures with Icelandic ponies. The estate has for centuries been linked to the world-famous Lipica Stud Farm and the Habsburg dynasty. Empress Maria Theresa loved visiting the estate and took care of it, and to this day, the avenue of apple trees which leads to the estate's organic farm is named after her. The estate has 6 apartments and the Na gradu Restaurant, which serves many specialties made from organic Angus beef, bred at the estate
